Silicon had its seventy years. This is DNA’s turn: DNAMIC launches as a company
For three years, DNAMIC operated as an EIC-backed research consortium testing the physical boundaries of molecular data storage. At the final project meeting in Geneva, we closed that chapter with proof in hand: storing digital data in synthetic DNA works.
Now, we are taking it out of the lab and into the market. The foundational science across our industry is proven. The next frontier is scale. We are building the industrial infrastructure to bring molecular storage to the data centre:
- From manual chemistry to photolithographic disks
- From bench experiments to end-to-end automated hardware
- From research grants to real market traction
We write data with the same light that built the chip industry, into the molecule that has preserved information since before there was a planet worth storing data about.
This is Day One.
